Polorn Lawn Mowers Parts
The Poloron manufacturing company no longer exists and few of their products exist today. The Poloron Manufacturing Company was located in 110 Menke Rd. in Michigan City, Indiana where mowers were made. The Company made snowmobiles in 165 Huguenot Street, New Rochelle, New York 10801 from 1970 to 1972 and other things like snow throwers, push mowers, travel trailers, outdoor cooking equipment, picnic products, lawn ornaments, campers, and camping equipment. The branch of Poloron that made mowers began in 1967 when Poloron bought Levitt Manufacturing Company and ended in the early 1970's producing them during the offseason (exact date of company ending point is currently unknown to this group). Models include Fleetwood, Cougar, Stallion, Garden Pro, Lawn Tamer, and Mark III. Mostly all of their mowers used 7hp or 8hp Briggs and Stratton Engines and identification codes could be found on right rear of the mower. Their company was named Poloron Products of Indiana, Inc. which is currently the address of the FiberBond company. This Group's interest is focused mainly on the division of Poloron that made riding mowers.
